Directions

While the main route of Country Hwy 76 has all the fun attractions, it’s not very RV friendly. We suggest the Ozark Mountain Highroad (76), or the Yellow Route. The map below shows where Shenanigans is located to the left.

Yellow Route

COMING FROM HWY 65 HEADING NORTH:

EXIT MO-76/Main St. Turn left.

Stay in the left lane.

Turn left on Green Mountain Dr. 2.5 miles (Yellow Route) Between Price Chopper and McDonalds

Continue 2.8 miles to Shenanigans. Green Mountain Dr. becomes Keeter St. near the end.

Ozark Mountain Highroad (76)

COMING FROM HWY 65 HEADING SOUTH:

EXIT Ozark Mtn Highroad (F) (West 76) Turn Right (West).
Follow to the end at 76 west / 376 east 7.5 miles (loop under the Hwy).
Turn right onto 376 east.
Continue on 376 for 3 miles, turn right at Shepherd of the hills Expressway, (2nd stop light) Conoco gas station (Route 376).
Go one block, turn left on Green Mountain Dr. / Yellow Route.
Continue on Green Mountain Dr to stop sign at Keeter St, ½ mile.
Turn Right on Keeter St.
Go ½ block, Shenanigans is on the right.

Tips for Calculating RV Travel Time and Navigating the Ozarks
A good rule of thumb is to calculate your trip’s driving time before hitting the road. Many experienced truckers and RVers estimate an average speed of 48 MPH, or they add 15–30 minutes to each hour of driving time to account for potential delays. Keep in mind, this does not include stops for refueling, meals, restroom breaks, blown tires, or other unexpected interruptions.

When navigating the Ozark Mountains, preparation is key. It’s recommended to stick to well-traveled highways and avoid backroads with hairpin turns, as they can be challenging and even dangerous for big rigs. These winding roads can also be nauseating for passengers.

The steep hills of the Ozarks often slow larger rigs during climbs, so plan accordingly. Be vigilant when descending—keep an eye on your brakes and braking system to ensure a safe journey down those steep grades.

By planning ahead and choosing safer routes, you can enjoy the scenic beauty of the Ozarks without unnecessary stress.
